Back in 1840, entertainment impresario Charles Morton took what was a simple restaurant and turned it into a saloon to entertain the people of London, making the St George's Tavern one of the first such venues in London in the City to provide such entertainment. Today, you'll find a great range of cask ales, beer and wine - enough choice to satisfy even the most selective Victorian thespian.
Private dining options are available, with a separate function room that can accommodate up to 55 guests as well as the main restaurant itself which comfortably holds up to 100 people. Nearby, you'll find places of interest as diverse as the iconic Westminster Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and the Churchill Gardens, to name just a few.
